Together, the
Hastings garnered over 250 Best In Shows with dogs from all groups
and bred over 28 different breeds from across all groups. In
October 2001, they received the Doberman Pinscher Club of America's
Lifetime Achievement Award.

Pat Hastings has been involved in the dog world
since 1959. She began her career as an owner-handler, moved
into breeding, then teamed up with her husband in professional
handling.
She is currently an AKC Judge of the Herding and
Non-Sporting Groups and half of the Working Group, Junior
Showmanship, and Best in Show.
Pat has articles published in a wide variety of
dog magazines.

Bob was involved in the dog world from 1948 until
his death in January 2002. His career included owner-handler,
breeder, training school owner and instructor, AKC rep,
professional handler (for which he received the Fido Award and the
Kennel Review Award for Dog Handler of the Year), AKC Judge (Working
Group, Hound Group, and Best In Show), and emeritus judge.
With his wife, he evaluated over 250 litters per
year and mentored countless dog fanciers.
